The 1988-89 Fleer Stickers is an 11-card standard-size set with virtually every card from this set having wax-stained backs as a result of the packaging. The MJ#7 sticker production run had extreme centering problems from side-to-side and top-to-bottom as well as slant or diamond cuts from top-to-bottom. Given all of these problems, it is remarkable that the MJcollect.com collection can boast to having both BGS 9.5 cards in existence.

Although Kenner Products changed ownership numerous times over the years, it remained a toy company that produced action figures through 1998. The action figures came in a box set which included cards of the action figure. Kenner first started producing baseball, basketball and football figures in 1988, which makes the following card in a sense the Jordan “rookie” Kenner card. Although the reporting is somewhat ambiguous, it is believed that the following cards constitute the total universe of such 1988 MJ Kenner Starting Lineup cards.
